Learning how to assign a thumbnail to your course.
PLEASE NOTE: Administrative permissions are required to manage course settings.
While on a course page, open the admin menu by clicking the three horizontal lines in the top right of the screen.
You will now see the admin menu pictured below. Put yourself in Edit Mode by clicking the toggle button.
From the Menu, click Assign Image. A popup window will appear and ask you to either upload or select an image. Upload an image by browsing your computer or select an image from the image library. Then, highlight the image you would like as your thumbnail and click 'Assign Image" in the lower right of the browser window. See the second image directly below.
IMPORTANT: Depending on your theme, images may need to fit the square image frame. We recommend an image size of 300 x 300 pixels.
A new window will open where you can either upload an image from your computer or you can select one from your image library.
Select an image and then click "Assign Image" in the lower right corner of the window.
You will be brought back to the admin menu. Click "Publish" to save your changes.
