Steps on how to create a new course to your Breaze homepage and enroll your users in it.
Step 1 - Turn On Edit Mode
In order to make edits to Breaze, you need to first turn on Edit Mode. Only certain users have access to Edit Mode, if you do not have Edit Mode, check out our User Management article.
Following these steps to turn on Edit Mode:
- Click on the Lessons button on the MAIN SECTION.
- Click the Menu icon in the top right corner.
- Click the Edit Mode toggle to turn on Edit Mode. Click this same toggle to turn off Edit Mode.
Step 2 - Add a New Section
- On the Homepage, click on the Lessons button on the MAIN SECTION.
- Click the Menu icon in the top right corner.
- Turn on the Edit Mode toggle in the Menu.
- Under the Sections heading in the Menu, click the “+”, from here you'll be given 3 options...

Create New Section - Inserts an empty blank section, containing no pages.

Make Copy with New Page ID's - When selected, you'll be asked to select from a list of existing Sections, which one you'd like to make a copy of. You may have to click the down arrows to find the Section you need, as it may be buried within another Section. This will make a copy of the Section you selected, and any changes that you make within this new Section will NOT affect the original. However, this will carry over any Tracking ID's and Interactive ID's and recommend changing them to something new and unique to the Section.

Make Copy with Duplicate Pages - When selected, you'll be asked to select from a list of existing Sections, which one you'd like to make a duplicate of. You may have to click the down arrows to find the Section you need, it may be buried within another Section. This will make a duplicate of the section you selected, and any changes that you make to this new page will affect the original as well, including Tracking ID's and Interactive ID's
Step 3 - Assign Groups to the New Section
- Open the Menu - Click the Menu icon in the top right corner of eco to open the Menu.
- Turn on Edit Mode - Turn on the Edit Mode toggle in the Menu.
- Open the Assign Groups Modal - In the Menu, you will see a button called "Assign Groups." You may need to scroll down to locate this button. Click it to open the Assign Groups Modal.
- Select Groups to Assign - Select any Group in the list to assign it to the Section you are currently in by clicking the checkbox beside the name of the Group. Some Groups may contain "Sub-Groups" (groups within groups). Click the name of the Group to see the Sub-Groups belonging to it. Selecting a Group will assign the Sub-Groups as well.
- Close the Modal - Click "Close" to complete the assignment.
