Video courses allow creation of a course from a video. To create a video course, the video must already be uploaded to the "Video Library".
On the Admin menu, select Training > Manage Courses.
On the Manage Courses screen, select the New Course button in the upper right-hand corner.
On the New Course Options screen, select Video Course.
The Course Properties screen appears. Enter a Course Name and any other appropriate information, then move on to the Settings tab.
On the Settings tab:
- Course Type: Video type is preselected.
- Video: Use the magnifying glass icon to search for and select a Video from the Video Library.
- Percentage Field: Enter what percentage of the video the learner needs to watch before getting credit for the course. The default is 95%.
- Enable Video Slider: When enabled, the learner has the option to scrub through the video with a slider at the bottom of the video.
- With all options chosen, select the Save button.
A notification appears indicating Your data has been saved along with the Publish button. Select Publish to publish the document course to a catalog.
