Performance Center Release Notes
Bug Fixes
- Error when creating an xAPI course from existing folder on server (137751) - Fixed a bug that prevented the creation of courses from existing course folders on the server if the course was in the xAPI format.
New Features
- Manage Training Content - A new tool that will allow you to manage training content has been added. This can be found in a menu item below the Training tab in the admin. For further information, please take a look at this Knowledge base article, Manage Training Content
- Pre-work Alert Colors - When pre-work is within one week of being due, the Pre-work alert in the Training Summary will display in the "warning" color. This color is usually orange, but depends on the theme for your campus. When the pre-work is due today or is overdue, the alert will display in the "danger" color. This color is usually red, but depends on your campus theme as well.
- Reset Password Generator - When creating or updating users there is now a "generate password" or "reset password" button that will make it easy to generate a password for your user. Note that for existing users, if the user is inactive or doesn't have access to the current campus, the button will not be available.
- Allow registered classes to count towards prerequisites - When adding an ILT course as a prerequisite, you are given an option of "Completed" or "Registered."
Use Case
A client offers two separate training classes back-to-back. These classes are typically at a training center and require the learner to travel for the training.
For example:
-
Class A occurs on Monday and Tuesday.
-
Class B occurs on Wednesday and Thursday.
The goal of this feature is to allow registration in a course to be a prerequisite for another course. In the above example, Course B would require a prerequisite that the learner be registered in class for course A.
- Display Course Linked Content in Class Properties - When viewing the Linked content on the class properties, the course level linked content is displayed as well. This allows instructors and class administrators to see which content is available on the course when setting up class level linked content.
