When reporting, what's the difference between Direct Reports and Managed Orgs?
When a user has a Manager set on their profile, that user is directly reporting to that Manager and therefore is considered a Direct Report for that Manager.
Users that belong to Organizations that are managed by a Manager will be listed under Managed Organizations.
Typically, Dashboards will have the option to report on Direct Reports or Managed Organizations. Depending on the report and the user's settings, the report may default to one or the other.
To switch between them, select the Pencil Icon in the Filters area.
Here, select between Managed Organizations or Direct Reports. When using Managed Organizations. Use the Pencil Icons next to Organizations and Suborganizations to narrow the org selection.
Use the checkboxes to select specific Organizations and then select Apply to report on those Organizations.
