      Standard Homepage Overview

      Many sites use a custom homepage console for the main page. In some cases, the homepage may be a Manage Learning or other management type console.

      Here's a screenshot example of an average homepage:

      1. Banner – The logo in the upper left-hand corner, it can be customized in the admin area. 
      2. Main Menu – Every item on the main menu is completely customizable and editable. 
      3. Console – Everything underneath the main menu is the homepage console, consisting of a variety of widgets. 
      4. Buttons – In the above screenshot, these four buttons link to Messages, Search, Help, and Logout. 
      5. User Options – A dropdown menu that allows the user to edit their profile and preferences. 
      6. Widgets – Each of these is a Widget within the Console. In the above example, we have Training Summary, Content Player, My Certifications, a Button List, My Points, and Learning Plan.
