The Tortal LMS can be configured to require Group Administrators to pay for Users seats in their LMS. The guide below illustrates this concept.
How to Enable the LSM Reseller Features
The Tortal LMS reseller features can be enabled on your LMS by contacting your total customer success representative.
The management of this feature for new Groups is a responsibility of the System Admin of the LMS.
How to create a "Reseller Group":
System Administrators can manager their LMS Reseller Group Options.
- When Logged in as a System Admin account - Use the Add a New Group or Edit a Group Tools
- Select "This Group is a "Reseller account"
- Continue, and Click Finish to save.
What does a Reseller Group Do?
Group Administrators of "Reseller " Groups will then have the ability to save their credit card information to purchase seats for Users. System Administrators can still add users to Any Group on the LMS, however the Group Admins are not charged for these Users.
If the User Limit for a Group has been Reached - Group Admins will receive the following alert when attempting to create a new User Account.
The Subscription details for a LMS Reseller Group admin can be viewed by clicking the "Manage your Subscriptions" Link.
To Add a new Payment Method and purchase seats for your Group click the "Add new Payment Method" Link in the bottom left.
