      Tortal LMS Release Notes - Mar/Apr 2025

       Hello!

      The past few months have been a great success with good strides being made on several road map projects, as well as completing service requests for customizations bug fixes end performance enhancements.

      We also welcomed Suzuki to the Learning Network Family, launching their LMS in April. Congratulations to the Suzuki team on a successful launch!

      Feature Updates:

      Learning Journeys.

      Based on feedback gathered in late 2024, we’ve delivered a set of updates designed to make the Learning Journey experience more intuitive and informative:

      • Improved Journey Enrollment Page with clearer progress indicators
      • New Journey Course Card Badges showing enrollment dates, due dates, and completion status
      • Updated Progress Widgets for faster tracking of course and journey completion
      • New Completion Modals provide certificates and smart navigation to keep learning flowing
      These changes are designed to support better self-navigation and stronger engagement across your training programs. Expect these updates to go live at the end of April / early May 2025.

      User Admin UI Update

      We’re modernizing Tortal’s Account Admin tools to help you get more done — faster.

      • New Admin Landing Page with a searchable, lightning-fast account table
      • Quick Action Buttons for profile view, user status, and permissions management
      • Unified Account Profile View showing:
      • Account info
      • Training progress
      • Group memberships
      • User activity health
      This new UI is currently in final QA and will launch soon as an optional toggle view — your existing tools will remain available!

      E-Commerce updates

      For clients using Tortal’s e-commerce features, we’ve completed required updates to ensure continued compliance and performance with the Authorize.net payment gateway.

      • LMS reseller clients can now store card tokens in their own payment gateway accounts
      • Recurring billing support is now smoother and more secure for Group Admins
      These changes keep your storefronts compliant and future ready.

      Service Requests, Fixes & Infrastructure
      • Resolved a fullcalendar.js issue that was preventing Training Page catalogs from rendering properly
      • Backend improvements for smoother course enrollment logic (especially with retired courses and re-enrollments)
      • QA cycles completed on AI chatbot integrations, data migrations, and admin tool updates

      • Final release of the new Account Admin UI
      • Expansion of an AI chatbot pilot add-on to additional brands
      • Ongoing enhancements to Journey assignment and certificate access
      • Analysis of Enhancements to our Multi-Concept LMS Platform.
